Intellectual Disability Services

The caring staff at Dickenson County Behavioral Health provides dedicated day support services and residential services to individuals with an ID diagnosis. Services provide skill building or supports for the acquisition, retention, or improvement of self-help, socialization, community integration, employability and adaptive skills.  Services provide opportunities for peer interactions, community integration and enhancement of social networks.  Supports are provided to ensure an individual’s health and safety.

Fee Information

There is a fee for services.  This may be covered by an individual’s medical insurance, or based on individual circumstances; the standard cost for services may be adjusted to their ability to pay.  All persons within Dickenson County Behavioral Health Services catchment area are eligible for psychiatric and/or substance abuse services regardless of ability to pay.
